Common questions
May AI grade performance?
Only under strict conditions. If AI evaluates learning outcomes or decides on admissions, the AI Act classes this as high risk. We therefore use AI for drafts and preparation. Grading stays with the teachers.
Will learners then write their work with AI?
That is your decision. We help with clear rules and set up assistants to explain rather than solve.
What about the data of minors?
It needs special protection. Together with your data protection officer we decide in advance which data an application may see. Processing takes place in the EU.
Does this work with our learning platform?
Usually yes, for example through the interfaces of Moodle or your course management system. We clarify this in the first call.
How does the training work?
For teachers it is half a day, for learners a project day or three evenings in further education. Both on site or online, with a parents’ evening on request.
How can schools use AI sensibly?
For example for exercise material at several levels, pre-sorted enquiries in the administration and study plans for exams. Clear rules, data protection and trained teachers are what matter. lindenbrook supports schools with teacher training, courses for learners and its own applications.
Is there AI training for teachers?
Yes. The AI training for teachers by lindenbrook is accredited by the Hessian Teacher Academy and takes half a day, for up to 30 people per session, on site or online. For pupils from year 8 and for adults there is a separate AI course, with a parents’ evening on request.
How does this fit with the training offered by the Hessian Teacher Academy?
It complements it. The Teacher Academy and the media centres offer the basics and an introduction to the state's AI tool in the school portal. The lindenbrook training works with your staff's own material, with task formats that make independent work visible, and with shared rules for your school. It does not replace the certificate of competence for the state tool. The training is accredited by the Hessian Teacher Academy.
Do you offer AI training in the Rhine-Main region?
Yes. lindenbrook is based in Oberursel in the Taunus and comes to schools, universities and adult education centres in Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt, Offenbach, Hanau and Bad Homburg. Outside the region, training and courses take place on site by arrangement or online.
