Common questions

How does AI help with marking?

AI drafts feedback on open-ended tasks, based on a marking rubric and marking scheme that you provide. You check the suggestions, compare them with your own assessment and revise the feedback. This saves time on writing feedback, and you still give the grade yourself.

Is the training accredited?

Yes. The training is accredited by the Hessian Teacher Academy under section 65 of the Hessian Teacher Education Act (offer number 02618473, event number 0261847301) and listed in the event catalogue at akkreditierung.hessen.de. Each participant receives a certificate of attendance for 0.5 training days.

Can student texts go into an AI tool?

Only without personal data. In the training, you practise preparing texts so that no names or other personal data end up in an AI tool. We clarify in advance which tools may be used at your school.

Who decides on the grade?

Always the teacher. The AI suggests feedback; the assessment and the responsibility for it stay with you. How to explain this to students and parents is part of the training.

Which AI tool do we work with?

With the tool your school has approved, or with prepared examples that need no personal account. The training is not tied to any particular program.

How does this relate to the AI training for teachers?

It goes deeper into marking. The AI training for teachers covers using AI in teaching and preparation; this training focuses on feedback and assessment. Both are accredited and can be booked separately.

How large can the group be?

Up to 30 people per session, so everyone can try things out. We split larger teaching staffs into several groups.

Does the training take place on site or online?

Both are possible. lindenbrook works across Germany and is based in Oberursel near Frankfurt am Main.

In which language is the teacher training held?

In German or English, whichever suits your staff.

What does the teacher training cost?

Prices are not on the website. When you ask, we give you the order of magnitude, and the offer then states a fixed price.
