What this looks like in the training

An exercise from part 2: may this go into the tool?

A tax clerk works with concentration at two screens

From everyday firm work

A colleague wants to shorten a long letter to a client with AI. The letter contains name, address and tax number.

Before entering anything, you check

  • Is the tool approved for the firm, with a contract under section 62a of the German Tax Advisers Act?
  • Is there a GDPR data processing agreement?
  • Does it run on the firm account, not a private one?
  • Does the task need the data at all?

What happens next

Name, address and tax number are removed first. The shortening is done in the approved tool. The professional reviews the draft and takes responsibility for it.

Practised in the training with invented data. The legal assessment of the individual case is made by your firm.

Common questions

What do tax advisers learn in the AI training?

In four parts: how AI works and where it invents sources, what chambers and associations recommend on confidentiality and data protection, what the AI Act regulates and which rules should apply in your firm.

May client data go into AI tools?

Only if section 62a of the German Tax Advisers Act is met and a GDPR data processing agreement is in place. Private AI accounts are not permitted for firm work. In the training we show how to assess tools on that basis. The legal assessment of the individual case is made by your firm.

Does the training count towards the duty to undertake further training?

Tax advisers must undertake further training under section 57 (2a) of the German Tax Advisers Act. According to the Federal Chamber of Tax Advisers, competent use of AI is part of it. For specialist advisers, only events in their specialist field count.

Does our firm have to provide AI training?

Anyone using AI must take measures under Article 4 of the AI Act that support the development of AI literacy among their staff. Type and scope depend on role and risk. Training with a certificate of attendance is an obvious measure.

Is there proof of attendance?

Yes. Each person receives a certificate of attendance with date and content. It documents the measures taken in your firm.

Does the training take place on site or online?

Both are possible, on site in your firm in Frankfurt am Main and the Rhine-Main region, or online. lindenbrook is based in Oberursel near Frankfurt am Main.

In which language does the training take place?

In German or English, whichever suits your team.

What does the training cost?

You receive a fixed-price quote for your firm. For that we need the number of participants, the preferred format and the location.
